A new suspense novel is “Life or Death” by Michael Robotham. Audie was sentenced to ten years for a Texas robbery in which four people died. The seven million dollars was never recovered. He has been beaten, stabbed, and threatened by inmates and guards desperate to know where the money is. Then the day before he is due to be released, he vanishes. The hunt for Audie and the money is on, but Audie isn’t running to save his own life – he’s trying to save someone else’s.

Other new fiction books are “Two-Dollar Pistol” by Brett Cogburn, “This Heart of Mine” by Brenda Novak, “The Calhoun Women: Suzanna & Megan” by Nora Roberts, “Child 44” by Tom Rob Smith, “Pleasured” by Candace Camp, “The Decision” by Wanda E. Brunstetter and “Hot Pursuit” by Stuart Woods. Andrew Smith’s “Grasshopper Jungle” is among new YA novels along with “Seeker” by Arwen Dayton.

“The Fear Cure: Cultivating Courage as Medicine for the Body, Mind, and Soul” by Lissa Rankin, M.D. is now available to checkout in several formats. Other new nonfiction includes “Accounting for Non-Accountants: the Fast and Easy Way to Learn the Basics” by Wayne A. Label and “Their Last Full Measure: the Final Days of the Civil War” by Joseph Wheelan.
