Coming soon! The Friends of the Library are excited to announce that “Doctor Noize” will be performing at the library on Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. The third Reading is Fun program is sure to be a hit as live performer, Doctor Noize (Cory Cullinan) engages the audience with his totally innovative performance approach inspiring children to participate in the creative process. Everyone is invited to attend this fun event and children will all be able to select their very own book to keep!

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior books, “The Adventures of Arnie the Doughnut: Bowling Alley Bandit” by Laurie Keller, “The Big Dark” by Rodman Philbrick and “Lockwood & Co.: the Screaming Staircase” by Jonathan Stroud. Some of the newer easy titles are “Sid Hoff’s Danny and the Dinosaur and the New Puppy“by Bruce Hale, “Pinkalicious and the Sick Day” by Victoria Kann and “Buddy and Earl Go Exploring” by Maureen Fergus.
