On Wednesday, April 18 the library will host Lusk native, Rick Kaan along with the musical group, “The Ramblin’ Rangers” at the library at 6:30 p.m. for a musical interpretive program. “Cattle Trails Timeline” will be featured through history and song, be sure to attend!
The movie, “Cars 3” will be shown on Friday, April 20 at 1:35 p.m. Lightning McQueen sets out to prove to a new generation of racers that he’s still the best race car in the world. The library provides the popcorn; please bring your own drink.
Dale Brown’s latest novel is “Act of Revenge.” On Easter Sunday morning the city of Boston is struck by a widespread and coordinated series of terrorist attacks. For robotics innovator Louis Massina this is personal. Boston is his city and one of his employees, Chelsea Goodman, is among the hostages facing death. “Walking With Peety: the Dog Who Saved My Life” by Eric O’Grey is now available in the new non-fiction section along with “Breaking Free: How I Escaped Polygamy, the FLDS Cult, and My Father, Warren Jeffs” by Rachel Jeffs and “Because It Is So Beautiful: Unraveling the Mystique of the American West: a Nonfiction Collection” by Robert Leonard Reid.
The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior books “Dog Man and Cat Kid” by Dav Pilkey, “Cupcakes Are Forever” by Sheryl Burk and “The Great Shelby Holmes Meets Her Match” by Elizabeth Eulberg.
