A successful library summer reading program concluded with 42 children receiving prizes for completing 10 weeks of meeting their reading goals. A total of 87 children registered for the program and children who met their goals for 8 and 9 weeks received cash prizes. 43 teens and adults were registered for the program with 20 completing the 10-week goal-based program. The Niobrara County Library, Friends of the Library, Library Foundation and individual donors provided the prizes for children and adults.
Prize winners are: Brady, Stetson, Wyatt, Bailey and Kinley Fahy, Jamsie, Scott, Norah, Nellie and Eva Gaukel, Ridge and Hayes Haefele, Nate and Levi Anderson, David, Nathaniel and Nevaeh Collins, Oliver, Eleanor, Avery and Mila Martinez, Laura Kremers, AnnaLee, Rebecca, Cora and Maggie Goddard, Harper, Joslyn and Cooper Skeen, Ainsley Miskimins, Paul and Ben Kruse, Holten Heth, Chad Yeager, Corbin and Avery Johnson, Connor Clark, Cora Lashmett, Gianna Pavone, Reagan Cardwell, Addie Lytle and Sophie Skibicki. Children who completed 9 weeks are: Avery Clark, Amy and Jay Hanson, Will Kruse, Jewliet Lashmett, Taryn and Timberlyn Meng and Asher Miskimins. Children who completed 8 weeks are: Emily Kruse, Charlie Pzinski, Amos, Dixie and Roxanne Walker and Emmy Wick.
