Singers and songwriters Kerry Grombacher and Aspen Black will perform in concert at the library on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. They will present an evening of contemporary cowboy music and poetry – you don’t want to miss this evening of entertainment!
There are a few copies of Cat Urbigkit’s One Book Wyoming, “Shepherds of Coyote Rocks” available to pick up. Urbigkit will be presenting a program on Tuesday, September 22 at the library at 6:30 p.m. The “One Book Wyoming” program encourages people throughout our state to read and discuss the same book; “Shepherds of Coyote Rocks” is also available for download in the Virtual Library and the 3M Cloud Library.
The newly released version of “Cinderella” will be shown as an Early Release movie on Wednesday, September 16 at 1:45 p.m. The film is rated G, the library provides popcorn, please bring your own drink.
A new suspense book is “The Redeemers” by Ace Atkins. New Year’s Eve is Sheriff Quinn Colson’s last night on the job after being voted out of office thanks to the machinations of county kingpin, Johnny Stagg. That night someone makes off with a safe full of money and shoots a deputy. Colson is alerted that the safe contained more than money. It held secrets – secrets that could finally end Stagg and his network of political protectors. Stagg’s cronies unleash a malevolent killer on Tibbehah County, leaving Colson and those close to him struggling to survive.

“Hiding in the Light: Why I Risked Everything to Leave Islam and Follow Jesus” by Rifqa Bary is among new non-fiction. Other titles include: “Monster Hunters: On the Trail with Ghost Hunters, Bigfooters, Ufologists, and Other Paranormal Investigators” by Tea Krulos and “Approaching the End of Life: a Practical and Spiritual Guide” by Donna Schaper.
The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior books, “Tales from a Not-So-Dorky Drama Queen” by Rachel Renee Russell, “The Menagerie: Krakens and Lies” by Tui T.
