POPULAR BAR CHANGE OWNERS; GRAND OPENING APRIL 5

The Pub has always been a popular hangout for not only business types, but has been a place for the younger generation to spend time socializing and having a good time. After several years of ownership by Dean and Terri Lou Nelson, the Pub was placed on the market.

After a year on the market, it was finally purchased by local Silver Dollar Bar owner Larry Halligan and his partner, Jesse Halligan, making it official on Feb. 11. Larry Halligan had been thinking about purchasing The Pub for some time. It is no secret that there was competition between the two bars, but now it is the hope of the new owners that both bars can work in harmony together instead of competing for business.
