Tyrrels Buy Jones Market; to Operate With Locker Plant

Mr. and Mrs. Gene Tyrrel, owners and operators of the Lusk Cold Storage, have purchased the Jones Market from Mayor and Mrs. Joe Jones. The grocery business will be operated in conjunction with the Cold Storage plant and the Cold Storage building is now being remodeled to accommodate the grocery business. 

Mr. and Mrs. Jones intend to remodel the quarters occupied by the market into additional motel units and an office. Jonses will continue to operated the motel and lumber business.

The combination cold storage and grocery business is a common type of operations. The moving of the grocery stock will not take place until the new quarters in the Cold Storage plant are completed.
