LUSK HOTEL IS LEASED TO CHADRON WOMAN: IS NOW IN NEW HANDS
In a deal perfected last Friday, the Lusk hotel was leased to Mrs. Mae Walker of Chadron, by Mrs. Hattie Anderson, who has operated this hostelry for the past two years. Mrs. Walker took charge immediately, and is now living with her two daughters, Sally and Carmen in the hotel. The former daughter is a high school graduate and Miss Carmen has entered the Lusk High School junior class.
Mrs. Anderson expects to go to Denver soon, where she will take a much needed rest, after which she will enter training to secure the latest methods and styles in beauty work. She has been quite ill most of the winter due to a nervous breakdown, but is improving at this time.

Joe Stallman's Buy The Lusk Hotel
After being operated by Mr. and Mrs. T.S. Beach for two years to the day, The Lusk Hotel is now under the management of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stallman of Harrison, who assumed the lease on Saturday
The Stallman's who have been running the theatre in Harrison, were 21 years residents of Niiobrara County. They moved away four years ago . While living here, Mrs. Stallman contributed the Chalk Butte news to the Herald.
"We believe we are going to like our new enterprise ," she stated, "and we would like to see our old friends as well as our new ones."
The Beach's plans are yet indefinite. They left today for North Platte for medical treatment and a visit with friends and relatives.
"We liked to work at the hotel fine and appreciated the business," they commented.
Stallman is a brother to Jake Stallman who runs the local potato chip factory.
