Templeton's Firestone Store
Image from 1947 Lusk High School yearbook:
We'll admit this shot was posed. however, Dale Gunn and Carl Maguire are regular customers of the FIRESTONE STORE. We can't quite remember how Patty Shane got in, but she seems to be buying something at a bargain. Noal Larson thought that can of paint he is buying from Johnny Robinson was just the ticket for the little redecorating job he had at home. Bob Templeton manages this well-lit modern emporium which deals in hardware, automobile accessories and home-making equipment.

Templetons' Firestone To Close Out Business
Robert C. Templeton, co-owner and manager of Templeton's Firestone Store in Lusk, is announcing this week that in order to take advantage of another business interest he is closing out the store here via the means of a retail sale.
Mr. Templeton told The Herald this week that his new business plans are not yet completed but that he does not plan to leave Lusk. He also pointed out that the sale was no sudden decision as he and his father have been planning on the sale since last spring.
The sale will start Saturday. The store will be open both Thursday and Friday, but the big discounts on his stock will not go into effect until the store opens at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. The sale will last until all the stock is sold or until December 31 which ever comes first. Mr. Templeton and his father H.J. Templeton purchased the store from Victor Senters and John Lorenzen and assumed active management of the store June 1, 1945.
