Riverside Dance Pavillion
New Dance Pavilion to Open in Lusk Saturday
The Lusk Herald, August 1, 1929
The Riverside Pavilion, Lusk’s newest addition in the way of amusement, will be formally opened Saturday evening of this week, August 3. An erroneous date was printed in the advertisement last week.
The pavilion is located just across the street from the Lusk Light plant and workmen have been rushing the work of preparing the floor for the big event. There will be a good seven-piece orchestra for the occasion and dancing will be free from 8 to 10 p.m. After that hour a charge of 25 cents for each three dances will be made to defray the expenses of the evening.
The Lusk Amusement Co., which is sponsoring the Riverside pavilion, is composed of representative businessmen of this city. They promise the best of order at all times and invite the public to the opening event—Saturday night, August 3.
