Wyoming author, Anthony "Tony" Sacco presented a very interesting Brown Bag Lunch program last week. If you were unable to attend his books "The China Connection" and "Little Sister Lost" are available at the library. Both books are fictionalized accounts of historical events.

The Niobrara County Library Foundation is planning a "No-Limit Texas Hold-em" endowment fundraiser for Saturday, July 9 in conjunction with the Legend of Rawhide. While the foundation was successful in completing the Kresge Challenge Grant in December of 2004 there is still a larger goal to be met. The endowment fund currently has just over $330,000 of its 1.5 million dollar goal. For more information regarding endowment contact any Library Foundation member or stop by the library.

New books in the adult library include "Death of the Party" by Carolyn Hart, "Charade" by Gilbert Morris, "Company Man" by Joseph Finder, "Monster" by Frank Peretti, "Two-Dollar Bill" by Stuart Woods, "True Believer" by Nicholas Sparks, "The Disappearing Girl : Learning the Language of Teenage Depression" by Lisa Machoian. "Mother God" by Sylvia Browne, "One Soldier's Story" by Bob Dole and "Chasing the Rodeo" byW. K. Stratton.

For the young adult, there is "Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception" by Eoin Colfer.

Our junior readers will enjoy "First Riding Lessons" by Sandy Ransford and "Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp" by Philip Pullman.

Our younger readers will enjoy "Hotel Deep" by Kurt Cyrus.

A special visitor will be dropping by Storyhour on Tuesday, June 14. Be sure to bring your smiles and join Yvonne and her guest for an hour of stories and fun. Storyhour is held from 10 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday throughout the year for children age three through kindergarten.
