Funeral Service For Mrs. Floyd Engebretsen Fri.

Funeral service was held Friday at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Floyd (Wanda Maxine) Engebretsen who died in Natrona County Memorial Hospital of acute leukemia on October 12.

Reverend Beauferd Anderson, Lusk, officiated at the service at the Peet Chapel with burial in the Lusk Cemetery.

A quartet composed of Mrs. Robert Bramlet, Mrs. Walt Fernau, Lee Johnsonbaugh and Harry Lyon sang "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" and "I'm But a Stranger Here" accompanied by Mrs. Sigmoid Hahn, organist.

Casket bearers were Lloyd Tschacher, Cliff Parmely, Harry Brown, Prosper Etchemendy, Lloyd Bartos and Burt Kaper.

Honorary pallbearers were Max Bird, George Etchemendy, Lewis Tschacher, Dick Heine, Alvin Alexander and Wilmer Baars.

Mrs. Engebretsen was born August 8, 1921, in Van Tassell to Hazel and Burtis Hall. She attended school in Harrison and graduated from Sioux County High School in 1941.

On March 13, 1941, she and Floyd Earl Engebretsen were married in the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Harrison by Pastor A. G. Johnson. They moved south of Lusk for one year and then moved to a ranch north of Manville for 4 years. In 1946 they moved to the present family home ranch 8 miles north west of Keeline.

She was confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran Church June 18, 1961. She was active in the Keeline Mile Hi Club and Keeline 5280 Homemakers Extension Club and St. Paul's Lutheran Ladies Aid.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Nels, Lusk, and Chuck, Lost Springs; daughter Patricia, Casper; her mother, Mrs. Hazel Hall, Lusk; three sisters Mrs. Gemila Stetson, Lusk, Mrs. Dan (Arlene) Leggett, Laurel, Mont., Mrs. Norman (Velma) Bowman, Colfax, Iowa, one grandson Merritt, Lost Springs and one step grandson Richard, Lusk, one aunt Ethel Pickering, Crawford, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bowman and Bonnie, Mrs. Gary Rawlins, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bowman, Colfax, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Laren Pickering, Crawford and Keith Stetson, Casper.
