Memorial services for Agnes K. Meyers, 79, were held Tuesday, Oct. 16, 1990 at 2 p.m. at the Glenrock Community Baptist Church in Glenrock, Wyo., with Rev. Dwayne Axworthy officiating. Graveside and interment services were held Monday, Oct. 15, 1990 at 2 p.m. at Greenhill Cemetery in Laramie with Rev. Mel Moyer of the First Baptist Church of Laramie officiating, The Laramie Rebekah Lodge #1 conducted graveside rites.

Meyers died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 1990 at Michael Manor in Douglas following a short illness.

She was born June 22, 1911 in Laramie, the daughter of John and Ella (Pahlow) Barth. She was reared and educated in Laramie, graduating from Laramie High School. She was married to Henry J. Meyers on June 23, 1934 in Kimball, Neb. They made their home in Laramie until 1942. Mr. Meyers took a job in 1942 with the Wyoming Highway Department, and they lived in Pine Bluffs and Lusk. Following his retirement in 1970 they remained in Lusk, and then in 1981 they moved to Glenrock where they resided until the time of her death. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Laramie Rebekah Lodge.

She is survived by her husband Henry, of Glenrock; one daughter, Eva Castle of Glenrock; two sisters, May Schott and Helen Barth, both of Laramie; two grandsons, Jeffrey T. Rowe in the United States Coast Guard in Alameda, Calif.; and Kenneth T. Rowe of Glenrock; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Beverly Rowe; and one brother, Robert Barth.

A memorial to the Glenrock Senior Citizen's Center would be equally appreciated by the family.

The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of arrangements.
