Memorial service for Edith Miller scheduled
Memorial service for Edith Miller, 81, of Stuart, Fla., former pioneer resident of Niobrara County, will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Lusk, Aug. 24 at 3:00. She died August 13, while visiting in Portland, Ore.
She was born in Mills Co., Iowa, Dec. 18, 1894. The family homesteaded in Niobrara County in the early 1900's.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Miller, Hill City, Kans., and Jack Miller, Stuart, Fla.; one brother Floyd Simon, Torrington; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Miller; her mother and father and one brother Clarence Simon.
