Melvin Edward Peet
Melvin Edward Peet of Riverton, Wyo. died July 25 at the hospital in Riverton. He was born Feb. 4, 1910 at Ainsworth, Neb. to George and Blanche Peet. His father once owned Peet's Mortuary in Lusk.
His occupation was accountant-office manager.
He married Estella Baughn Jan. 7, 1930 in Hot Springs, S.D.
He was an avid fisherman and bowler and was also a talented craftsman and handyman.
Melvin was a third degree mason and a past master.
He had lived in Riverton for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Estella of Riverton; one son Wayne Peet of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters Gloria R. Daugherity of Casper and Delores J. Hummel of Lyman, Neb.; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; a brother Donald Peet of Denland, Flor.
The deceased was cremated and Memorial Services were held at 2 p.m. on July 29, 1989 at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton.
