Frank Orin Bozart

Funeral services for Rev. Frank O. Bozart, 89, of Lusk, were held March 21, 2003, at the Congregational Church in Lusk, with Pastor Mark Lohr and Rev. Juanita Gillies officiating. Interment followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

Frank O. Bozart died March 16, 2003, at Michael Manor in Douglas.

Frank Orin Bozart was born in Sparta, Wisc., Dec. 2, 1913, into a family of three sisters and three brothers.

Following Bible School Frank married Esther Aasen in March 1939. They were married 63 years.

They started their ministry in Broadus, Mont. From there they had various positions throughout Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Ohio. Often these rural churches required having two or three smaller churches in conjunction with the main church.

The most lengthy position was in Lusk, where he retired, and from which he took substitute speaking and ministerial assignments. It was not until he was 80 years old that he realized he could no longer take speaking assignments. However, until the very end of his life, he was testifying to God's grace and love to everyone with whom he spoke.

He was preceded in death by his wife Esther, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his daughter Pat and her husband Jerry Jarnigan, and one granddaughter, Jennifer, all of Washington; one brother and two sisters of Wisconsin.

Memorials may be directed to the Church of Christ in Lusk.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
