Mrs. Waters Dies In Denver Wed.

Mrs. Leota Berry Waters, 56, of Denver formerly of Lusk died last Wednesday in Denver. Funeral services were held in Lusk Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Peet Chapel with the Rev. Dean Addington of St. George's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. A. F. DeCastro, organist, accompanied Mrs. Dean Glandt and Mrs. Alex Miller as they sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Casket bearers were Jess York, Clem Mosier, Joe Traphagan, Ben Wolfe, Sven Johnson and Joe Vaughan.

She was born to William and Minnie Hurley, June 12, 1912, at Ferris, Ill. She received her education in the Manville schools and was graduated in 1932. Mrs. Waters worked in Lusk for a number of years and left in the early 50's.

One son, Dale William Kobbe, her parents, one brother and a step-father died previously.

Survivors include nine sisters, Gayle Brown, Cheyenne; Fannie Kuehn, St. Louis, Mo.; Lucille Aberle, Lance Creek; Mildred Jeffres, Ruth West, both of Bloomington, Ill.; Euresa Gordon, Heppner, Ore.; Bernice Wages, Rawlins; Ethel Shafer, Dorothy Gunderson, both of Cody; and one brother; Bobby Dean Brown, Robinson, Ill.
