Autumn L. Ladwig Wilson
Services for Autumn L. Ladwig Wilson, of Aurora, Colo., were held Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at the Horan and McConaty funeral home. Chaplain Lynne Parker of the Aurora Police department officiated. Burial was at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Autumn L. Ladwig Wilson died at St. Lukes Hospital, Denver, Colo., Dec. 11, 2003, from complications of the flu.
She was the fourth of 12 children born to William and Katie Glandt Ladwig at Hemmingford, Neb., on Jan. 9, 1925.
She married Clyde Wilson during World War II while he was in the Armed Forces. After the war they settled in Aurora, Colo. Autumn worked for the Aurora Police Department for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one grandchild and six siblings.
Survivors include her four children: Clyde Jr., Trish, Bill, and Ron, all of Aurora, Colo.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Van Sickle of North Carolina, Ruth Drewry of Montana, and Lucille Arrett of California; and two brothers, Harold of Douglas, and Dick of Manville.
