LuThera Fullmer

Memorial services for LuThera Fullmer, 83, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at the Lingle Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Curtis Hill officiating. Those who wish to may direct memorial contributions to the Lingle Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Fullmer died on Sept. 22, at the Goshen Care Center. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home.

She was born Sept. 26, 1922 in Madrid, Neb. They farmed with her family to the Veteran area where she grew up and attended school, along with graduating there in 1941. She then married Douglas Fullmer on Sept. 13, 1941 in Gering, Neb. They farmed in the Veteran area, lived in Yoder for a short time, and then moved to Torrington. She worked for Holly Sugar during campaigns as a scale lady. They then moved to Lingle in 1958 and lived there until 1999 prior to moving back to Torrington. She entered the Goshen Care Center in March 2003.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Lingle District President for two years; Lingle Presbyterian Church, and an original member of the Christmas Club in Veteran where she made gifts throughout the year. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Presbyterian Church (Circle), and a current member of the Lingle-Ft. Laramie Ladies Bridge Club. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, cooking, tending to her garden flowers and vegetables and raising and selling her own chickens and eggs.

She is survived by her husband Doug Fullmer of Torrington, five sons and their wives Dick and Pat Fullmer of Torrington, Bill and Jeannie Fullmer of Cheyenne, Jerry and Lynnea Fullmer of Lusk, Craig and Roberta Fullmer of Higley, Ariz. and Doug and Stacey Fullmer of Gilbert, Ariz., one sister Mary Jane Duryee of Great Falls, Mont., three brothers Melvin Titchener of Kaizer, Ore., Calvin Titchener of Cheyenne and Alvin Titchener of Lusk, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters Darlene Daiss, Gayle Fullmer, Lois Ann, Betty Jane and a set of female triplets.
