Louis L. Wills Dies in Cheyenne

Louis L. Wills, former resident of Lusk, died in the Memorial hospital in Cheyenne, Tuesday evening, March 21, following a brief illness.

He was born in Madison, Nebr., and came to Lusk some thirty years ago where he was employed on the Chicago and Northwestern railroad. While living here he married Mrs. Mary Thomas, widow of Charles Thomas. In 1923 they moved to Cheyenne where they have since resided, Mr. Wills being employed as a conductor on the Union Pacific.

He was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge of Curtis, Nebr., the Elks and the Order of Railroad Conductors.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon, March 23 at the Schrader Funeral Home with the Rocky Mountain Masonic Lodge No. 40 of Cheyenne in charge of the services.

Burial was made in the Beth El cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mary E. of 2607 Warren Ave., Cheyenne; one son, William T. Wills of Riverton, Wyo.; two step-sons, Albert E. Thomas of Ft. Laramie, Wyo.; and Robert M. Thomas of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Roxie McDonald of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Phebe Forster of Madison, Nebr.; and Mrs. Murle Grant of Oakland, California.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Thomas Sr., drove to Cheyenne to attend the funeral service.
