Little Manville Girl Is Victim Of Diphtheria

Ethel Middleton, aged 12 years, 10 months and 19 days, died at 11:30 on Monday, February 19, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Albert Thomas, of Manville, from diphtheria.

Services in the presence of immediate relatives were held Wednesday afternoon at the Thomas home, with Rev. B. F. Farrar of Lusk officiating.

Funeral arrangements were under supervision of the Earl Peet Mortuary and interment was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Ethel Middleton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Middleton, was born at Lusk on March 24, 1916. She was preceded in death by her father, who died on Feb. 6, 1916, and by her mother, who died on July 16, 1926.

She has been her home with her sister while attending the Manville school. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. W. E. St. John of Rawlins, Mrs. A. E. Thomas of Manville, and Mrs. Sheridan Burke of Lusk, and by two brothers, Oscar Middleton of Lusk and Frank Middleton, whose address in unknown.
