Funeral services for Madeline Blish of Lusk will be held Wednesday, Apr. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Congregational Church. Burial will follow in Cheyenne.

Memorials may be sent to the Congregational Church Memorial Fund. A complete obituary will appear next week.

Memorial services for Madeline I. Blish, 83, of Lusk were held Wednesday, April 16 at the Lusk Congregational Church. Rev. Nick Natelli and Rev. Robert Nuhn officiated with burial following in the Mt. View Memorial Park Cemetery in Cheyenne.

Mrs. Blish died Sunday, April. 13 at Converse County Memorial Hospital in Douglas. She was born April. 8, 1903 in Missouri City, MO, the daughter of Paul and Margaret Johnson. She was educated in the public schools of Dubuque, IA and Later attended Bayless Business College.

Marrying Frank M. Blish on Oct. 14, 1931 in Basin, NY, the couple served numerous ministries in New York State, Iowa, Washington, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. For the past nine years, she had resided in Lusk with her husband.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Blish devoted her energies to family, church activities, teaching and directing music, and various community organizations. She was a member of the Congregational Church, The Order of Eastern Star and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Frank M. Blish of Lusk; one daughter, Frances M. Morris of Cheyenne; one brother, Harry B. Johnson of Mt. Home, AK; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; plus numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Margaret Johnson, and by a brother, Arthur H. Johnson. Memorials may be given to the Congregational Church Memorial Fund.
