Perry D. Crane Dies in Hot Springs

Perry D. Crane, 68, a resident of Casper since 1916, died Tuesday, August 1 at the Veterans Center in Hot Springs, S. Dak., after being ill for more than a year.

Mr. Crane was born January 28, 1882, at Hoopeston, Vermillion County, Illinois. He served as a member of the 5th Co., 14th Transportation Division with the American Expeditionary Force during World War 1. He was a charter member of the Powder River Post No. 991 at Casper and belonged to the Moose Lodge of Casper.

Military services were held Wednesday, August 2 in Hot Springs and burial was made in the National Cemetery there.

Survivors include: a niece, Mrs. D.H. Harris, Casper, a nephew, Dell Crane of Ft. Laramie; one sister, Leona Yeazel, East Lynn, Ill., two brothers, M.S. Crane of Wingate, Ind.; and Fred Crane of Crawforscille, Indiana.
