Resident Hat Creek Buried Last Sunday

Fred Cogeshall, long-time resident of the Hat Creek community, died Thursday, April 20th at the Douglas Hospital. He had been in poor health for some time, but his death came quite unexpectedly.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, at 1:00 o'clock, at the Peet Mortuary with Rev. P. H. Evans, pastor of the Lusk Baptist church, conducting the services. Music was furnished by J. M. Hungate who sang a solo, accompanied by Mrs. C. E. Marvin at the piano. The body was taken to Crawford for interment.

OBITUARY
Frederick Cogeshall was born in Coleride, Nebraska, on December 27, 1886. He lived in Iowa and in various parts of Nebraska for some years. In 1911, he came to Wyoming and filed on a homestead in the Seaman Hills country east of Hat Creek. On March 30, 1917, he was united in marriage to Miss Olive Hardy, and lived on his ranch in this country until the time of his death. While yet a boy, he professed faith in Christ, and united with the Methodist Episcopal church. At the time of his death he was 52 years, 3 months, and 22 days of age.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, his father, one brother, Ted Cogeshall, in Crawford, two sisters, Florence Friss, of Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. David Mill, of Hat Creek, Wyo., one niece and two nephews, and many friends.
