Shirley E. "Cy" Call
Shirley E. "Cy" Call, formerly of Lusk, died Feb 1, 1986, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, of complications following an illness. He was 79.
Mr. Call was born in Manchester, N. H., and lived in Douglas and Buffalo, Wyo., most of his life. He was the owner of the Buffalo Bar in Buffalo, until his retirement in June 1970. He was a member of the Congregational Church. He served in the Air Force during World War II, was a life member of the Order of Elks in Sheridan and a 35-year member of American Legion Post No. 12 in Buffalo.
He was married in June 1947.
He is survived by a son, Gregory of Des Moines; two brothers, Norman of Spearfish, S.D., and Justin of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Harriet Thompson of Lusk and Elanor Johnson of West Lafayette, Ind.; three grandsons, a grandaughter, three step-grandsons and three nieces, Janet Bruegger of Keeline, Waive Yager of Torrington and Judy Jan Simons of West Lafayette.
Funeral Services were held Feb. 7 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Des Moines.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Des Moines.
