Anna D. Hall
Mrs. Jesse Hall Dies in Calif.
Mrs. Jesse (Anna D.) Hall, 94, former Niobrara resident and member of the Niobrara Chapter Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years, died April 23 at the Clara Baldwin Stocker Convalescent Hospital in West Covina, Calif. Funeral service was held April 26 in Rainbow Chapel at Rose Hills Cemetery, Whittier, Calif.
Mrs. Hall had sustained a broken hip in April 1971 and had been hospitalized since that time. In August of 1973 the Hall's celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary at a dinner party at the Clara Baldwin Stocker Home. Mr. Hall still occupied the home the couple had built in West Covina in 1926.
Halls were active in community and church life in Lusk from 1905 to 1920 when they moved to California. He was the second master of harmony Masonic Lodge in Lusk and has retained a non-resident membership of over 60 years.
Their daughter, Mrs. J. McLarsen (Sara Belle) Forbes of West Covina, wrote, "Though they have outlived most of their old-time friends, I am sure there are some subscribers to the Herald who will be interested in them."
