Thomas H. Blair
Thirty Years Ago, April 3, 1924
Thomas H. Blair, a resident of Wyoming for 35 years, died in Manville Friday, Mar. 28. He was born in Batavia, N. Y., Mar. 12, 1859.
He was a contractor and builder, first coming to Wyoming thirty-five years ago.
He first located at Thermopolis, erecting many of the buildings there.
He built the town of Van Tassell and Keeline and constructed many of the buildings in the coal town of Hudson in Fremont County. He was interested in the founding of the town of Shawnee and was its most enterprising citizen, making his home there for several years. Recently he had been living in Manville.
He was married January 5, 1914 to Mrs. Rosa D. Bradley, who survives him. A step-son, James Kennedy, is the only other relative living in Wyoming.
