Andrew Jasan Hammond

Andrew, 24, was born Sept. 6, 1986, in Scottsbluff, Neb. to Jay and Leslie Hammond of Lusk, Wyoming. He was taken from us on Jan. 1, 2011 to be with the Lord in Heaven.

Andrew attended school in Lusk for 13 years, graduating from Niobrara County High School in 2005. In his high school career he played golf and basketball, and participated in Future Business Leaders of America, band, and choralaires. He attended the University of Wyoming, graduating in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Throughout Andrew's college career he was a part of Alpha Kappa Psi, a business honorary. After graduation Andrew was then employed by Security First Bank in Laramie, Wyoming.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and was an accomplished horseman in his earlier years. Andrew had a robust love for life and his family, and was seldom seen without that big friendly smile.

Andrew was baptized in September of 1986, and confirmed in April of 2000. As a confirmed member Andrew was a huge asset to the high school bible study class. He continued to be an active member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
