ELIZABETH WOOD, 81, DIES IN SEATTLE
Mrs. Elizabeth Wood, 81, a former resident of Lusk, died Sunday morning, Feb. 4th, in Seattle, Wash.
Mrs. Wood has been making her home with her daughter and husband, Dr. and Mrs. D.H. Dale, also former residents here, where Dr. Dale was a prominent physician during Lusk's first oil boom days of 1918-19.
When the Dale family moved to Seattle about 1929, Mrs. Wood accompanied them and has made her home with them since that time.
Two sons, Sam and Sol Wood, still reside here, and another son, A.J. Wood, lives at Douglas, Wyo., and the youngest son, Walter, is in the U.S. Navy, somewhere in the Pacific.
Neither of the sons living in Lusk were able to go to Seattle for the funeral services.
