J.B. Campbell Called By Death Last Saturday

After a lingering illness of more than two years, Joseph Bernard Campbell, age 68 years, passed away at his home here Thursday evening, September 10. His wife and daughter were at his bedside when the end came and had been constantly with him for months.

The deceased was born at Hamilton, Canada, June 11, 1857, but while still a small child moved with his parents to Illinois where he lived until about 19 years ago when he came to Lusk and took up a homestead near Lance Creek.

He was the father of six children, tow daughters having died in infancy. Those surviving him are his wife, one daughter, Miss Ethel Campbell and three sons, Harry, J.B. and James, all of Joliet Ill.

Funeral services were held from the Austin Elquist, Slack undertaking parlors Friday afternoon and interment made in the Lusk cemetery.
