After an illness of more than a year Mrs. Torborg Thompson passed away at her home in Lusk last Thursday evening July 9, 1925, at nine o'clock, at the age of 71 years.

Mrs. Thompson was one of the pioneers of Niobrara county, settling at Kirtley with her husband and family many years ago. Thon, Harry Fancher, John Lohr and J.J. ZumBrunnen. Burial was made in the Kirtley Cemetery, where she was laid to rest beside her husband and four of her children.

Six of her children have preceded her in death. They were Thomas, Inga, Ole, Bertha, Ben, and Jennie. Those who survive her are two sons, Arthur and Lewis, and three daughters, Miss Thea Thompson, Mrs. Annie Costlow and Mrs. Ethel Taylor.
