Bernard "Bernie" Condelario

Mass of the resurrection for Bernard "Bernie" Condelario, 90, of Casper, was held Wednesday, Jan. 30, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church by Msgr. James O'Neill. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Condelario died Jan. 26, 1991, at his home from a lengthy illness. He was born July 14, 1900, in Kyle, S.D. to Peter J. and Nancy (Moran) Condelario.

He attended school at Holy Rosary Mission at Pine Ridge, S. D. After graduating from Carlyle Academy in Pennsylvania, where he studied as a linotype operator, he returned to the Black Hills area where worked for his father at his ranch. He came to the Lusk area in the 1930's where he was employed by the Lusk Free Lance.

On Sept. 11, 1932, he married Doris Ann McGinnis of Hat Creek, at Hot Springs, S.D. After leaving Lusk he was shop foreman for Prairie Publishing Co. in Casper, and then worked for the Casper Morning Star (which later became the Casper Star Tribune), where he was employed until his retirement in 1970.

After his retirement, he worked at Oil City Printers and DeWitts Automotive and later went into business with his son at Ronnie's Auto Trim.

He was a member of the Eagles Aire 306, 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, Typographical Union and St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Ester) Lee of Casper; three sons, Larry, Roy and Ronnie Condelario all of Casper; one brother, Pete Condelario of Casper; two sisters, Lucille Moore of Phoenix, Ariz. and Alberta Pourier of Rushville, Neb., 23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Dorothy Lowe and Jean Rush; three brothers, Joe, Richard and Vincent; three sisters, Sophia, Margaret and Clara and one great-granddaughter, Yelonda Lee.
