I will call him one more time, you are and always will be my blue-eyed Wyoming Cowboy! Services for George Robert Baker, 90, will be held and announced at a later date. He went on his last journey June 24, 2025, at his home with his wife and love of his life by his side and cremation has taken place. Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

Bob was born in Douglas to Guy and Ardice (Thompson) Baker on July 9, 1934. Raised on a ranch north of Lance Creek with two siblings, James and Judith.

Bob as he was known by many friends and family, dad to six wonderful children, spent most of his life in Wyoming. He served two years in the Army in Korea. He’s done many, many things, too numerous to mention.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret. His adult children; Deana, William, Kimberly (John) Putnam, Loren and Derek and six grandchildren; John, Arik, Bohdan, Arabella, Silas and Athena. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ramona (Beaver), his parents Guy and Ardice Baker, siblings Judith (Baker) Michaud and James Baker, infant brother Eldon, son Wayne L. Baker, nephew Michael Michaud and numerous other relatives. His boarding pass is now complete.
