Clara Deitchler buried

The funeral for Clara Kay Deitchler, 89, who died April 16 in Belle Fourche, S. D. was last Thursday at the Peet Mortuary Chapel.

She was born Dec. 24, 1888 in Mills County, Iowa, the daughter of Joachim and Margaretha Kay.

August 11, 1909 she married Gustave Leo Deitchler in Glenwood, Iowa. They made their home on a farm in Iowa until 1920 when they moved to Heminford, Neb. There they started farming.

In 1931 they came to Wyoming and settled near Keeline where they lived until 1943 when they moved into Lusk. Clara later moved to Broadus, Mont., to be nearer her children and she spent the last seven years of her life in Belle Fourche at the Don Pratt Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three daughters, Laura Roberts of Ismay, Mont.; Mrs. Enious Wismiller, Alliance, Neb.; and Mrs. Clifford Huff of Worland; four sons, Leo of Thermopolis; Dan of Miles City, Mont.; Floyd of Billings and Kenneth of Alzada, Mont. Twenty-six grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren also survive.

The Rev. O. H. Shroyer officiated at the funeral.

The music was provided by Edna DeCastro, organist, and Marilyn Cockreham soloist. Songs were "In the Sweet By and By" and "In the Garden."

Pallbearers were Joe Klemke, Kester Akers, Lloyd Coleman, Graydon Hoblit, Gilbert Bernbeck and L. T. Bonner.

Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
