Graveside service for Robert Lee McGee, husband of the former Mildred Pfister, daughter of the late Edwin and Martha Pfister, were conducted at the Lusk Cemetery by Fr. Bartholomew Svette at 3:00 p.m. on Nov. 1. He died in Cheyenne on Oct. 29.

Casketbearers at the graveside were James Pfister, William Huey, Henry Wasserburger, Jr., Joseph Pfister, Paul Pfister and Charles Pfister.

Rosary and scripture service was held Oct. 31 at the Wiederspahn Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne with Fr. Cornelius O'Connor officiating. Mass of All Saints was celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Cheyenne, Nov. 1, by Fr. O'Connor.

Organist Mrs. Eugene Hess played "Ave Maria," "O Lord I Am Not Worthy," and "What Could My Jesus Do More."

Casketbearers were Everett Bruckert, Neal Sanders, James Noel, Joseph Croco, V.G. Wamhoff and Julian V. Rasmussen.

Robert Lee McGee was born in Rawlins Aug. 9, 1919 to Grace A. Roney and Robert L. McGee. He received his elementary and high school education in California and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1941.

Aug. 10, 1943, he married Mildred Pfister at Sioux Falls, S.D. They moved to Laramie after his discharge from the Armed Forces in 1945 and to Cheyenne two years ago.

He was a locomotive engineer for the Union Pacific for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 482, Laramie; Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers No. 103; Union Pacific Old Timers; American Legion Post No. 14, Laramie; and the Glider Pilots Association.

He served in the European Theatre of Operations during World War II for four years as a glider pilot and radio operator.

He is survived by his widow Mildred and two children, Kathleen and Michael, all of Cheyenne; a sister, Geraldine A. Bartlett of Torrance, California; a brother, Kenneth of Downey, California; two uncles, Edward L. Coolican of Cheyenne, and Pat Roney of Long Beach, California; by a niece and a number of nephews. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

The family requests memorial donations be given to the Intensive Care Unit of St. Vincent DePaul Hospital in Cheyenne in lieu of flowers.
