Tina Lorrell Baca

Tina Lorrell Baca, formerly Talarra Lorrell Caballero, 22, of Santa Fe, N.M., died Thursday April 2, 1987, from injuries received in an auto accident.

She was born Aug. 24, 1964 in Santa Barbara, CA. She attended Lusk Elementary and Middle schools and attended one year of high school in Lusk. She graduated from high school in Hawaii.

She married Billy Baca in December 1982 and they resided in Santa Fe.

Survivors include her husband, Billy, of Santa Fe; her adoptive parents, Donald and Helen "Sam" Clark of Wilmington, N.C., formerly of Lusk; her mother Tonni Quinonez of Lusk; her father Anthony Mendoza of Santa Barbara, CA; a grandmother, Helen L. Heminger of Lusk; a paternal grandfather, Cal Cooper of Hartwood, VA.; paternal great grandmother, Clara Cooper of Bethesda, MD; five brothers, David Phipps of Salinas, CA, Glenn Phipps of Santa Barbara, CA, David Caballero of Huntington Beach, CA, Sean Griffin of Stockton, CA. and Michael Sloan of Los Angeles; four sisters, Julie Phipps of Santa Barbara, CA, Bellette Green of Indiana, PA, T'Brene Bowns of Lusk and Vulcania Sloan of Jackson, Tenn.; four aunts, three great uncles, and three great aunts.

Funeral services were Wednesday, April 8 in Santa Fe, with burial following there. A memorial service was held in Lusk Saturday, with Rev. Nick Natelli officiating.

Memorial to M.A.D.D., Mothers Against Drunk Driving, will be appreciated.
