Mrs. Ben Spaeth Passes Away at Ranch Thursday

Had Been Resident of this County for Almost 15 Years Past; Funeral services are held at Van Tassell Sunday; Rev. Bratt of Harrison officiating.

Agnes Huldah Sylvia Spaeth was born October 1, 1878 at Farmington, Washington County, Wisconsin, and passed away Thursday, March 25, 1926, at the age of 47 years, 5 months and 25 days, at her home ten miles southwest of Van Tassell. She had been ill for the past three years, nineteen months of which she had been confined to her bed.

The deceased was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theadore Walters, and grew to womanhood, and was brought up in the Lutheran church in Fillmore, Wisconsin.

She was married in 1895 to Henry Schnorenberg. Three children were born to this union, two dying in infancy. She was again united in marriage on May 8, 1909 to Benjamin Spaeth. They made their home in Wisconsin until moving to Wyoming in 1912, where they have since resided.

She leaves to mourn her loss, a beloved husband, one son, Walter Schnorenberg and two grandchildren, Richard and Leslie Schnorenberg. A sister, Miss Elsie Walters of Billings, Mont., and two brothers E.O. Walters of Ontario, Ore, and Theodore Walters of Calois, Alberta, Can., also survive her. One brother, Gustave A. Walters, died at Sawtelle,Calif., in March, 1923.

She was a faithful and loving wife and mother, devoted to her husband and home, and will be greatly missed by the sorrowing ones left behind. Although she was long-suffering and patient, she was cheerful until the last.

Funeral services were held from the Congregational church at Van Tassell Sunday, March 28, at 2 p.m. Reverend Bratt of Harrison officiated. Internment was made in the Van Tassell cemetery.

Shadows over our home are cast,
And dark is our home today;
Without her the world seems very different, we find,
But sweet are the memories she left behind.
God knew best and took her to the beautiful shore,
Where we shall meet her to part no more.
