Services Held for H. Schnorenberg

Concluding ritcs were held in the Peet Chapel at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon for Henry Joseph Schnorenberg, 76, who died at the Spencer Hospital June 2 at 8:15 a.m. following an illness of three years. He was a resident of this community for four years.

The Rev. Jacob Nein, pastor of the Congregational-Christian Church officiated. Miss Juanita Cork and Miss Barbara Windom sang two selections, "In the Garden" and "We are Going Down the Valley," accompanied by Mrs. A. F. DeCastro at the chapel organ. The remains were shipped to Milwaukee, where burial will be made beside his wife at the Wisconsin Memorial Park. The family went by car to Milwaukee for the burial.

Henry Joseph Schnorenberg was born Apr. 22, 1875 in Polk, Washington County, Wis., the son of Joseph and Mary Bohn Schnorenberg. He grew to manhood at Cedar Creek, Wis. and was married in 1895 to Agnes Walters. They were thc parents of three sons, two of which died in infancy.

In 1911 he was married to Helen Hartman and lived at Milwaukee, Wis. His wife preceded him in death in 1938. He came to Lusk in September, 1947 to make his home with his son, Walter Schnorenberg. Mr. Schnorengerg followed the occupation of machinist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister, Mrs. Mary Lauffer.

Survivors are his son, Walter, of Lusk; three grandsons, Richard, Leslie and Walter, Jr. Schnorenberg and four great grandchildren, all of Lusk.
