Otto Stratton, 84, Boom Days Resident Of Lusk Dies Sun.

Funeral service is being held in Palo Alto, Calif., Wednesday afternoon for Otto Stratton, 84, who died Sunday.

Mr. Stratton lived in Lusk during the boom days, 1917-1920. He built the Silver Cliff Hotel and the Thrifty Laundry building.

He married Veda Snyder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Snyder, in 1919 and the couple visited relatives in Lusk for many years after moving away. Mrs. Stratton was a sister of the late Mrs. James B. (Nellie) Griffith, and the late Mrs. Ralph (Vira) Olinger.

Mr. Stratton had polio in 1924 and although required to wear leg braces was not confined to a wheel chair until after his first heart attack several months ago. His death followed another heart attack.

Mr. Stratton is survived by his wife, a son Stanley and a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Wilson all of Palo Alto.
