Mass Saturday For Mrs. W. D. Wasserburger

Mrs. W. D. Wasserburger, 73, died at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital June 16. Rosary was recited at 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Peet Mortuary in Lusk. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Saturday at 10:00 a.m., with the Rev. T. McGovern officiating. Burial was in the Lusk cemetery.

Casket bearers were Joe Pfister, Bob Baribeau, Harry Austin, Henry Wasserburger Jr., Jim Wasserburger and Ken Kozola.

Frances Konrath Wasserburger was born August 2, 1898, at Montrose, Neb., to Joe and Elizabeth Konrath. After receiving her education she married Wilford D. Wasserburger September 6, 1922, at Montrose. They came to the Lusk community in 1944 and have resided here since. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Fancy Farmers Garden Club.

One son and one daughter died previously.

Survivors include her widower, Wilford of the family home; four sons, Jerry and Ralph of Lusk, Ken of Alliance, and Jim of the U. S. Air Force, stationed in London, England; four daughters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Lawler, Sidney, Mont., Mrs. Paul (Doris) Thornhill, Austin, Texas, Mrs. Frank (Elaine) Kuhn and Mrs. Doug (Beth) Sides both of Lusk; four brothers, Joe and Henry Konrath, Chadron, Neb., Herman Konrath, Edgemont, S.D., Florian Konrath, Glenrock, Wyo.; two sisters, Mrs. Luella O'Connell, Grand Junction, Colo., Mrs. Helen Reichert, Minneapolis, Minn.; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
