Mae Belle Wasserburger

Rosary services for Mae Belle Wasserburger, wife of Jerry Wasserburger, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Peet Mortuary Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Leo's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Wasserburger died Dec. 9 at her home in Lusk.

Mae Belle Wasserburger

Mae Belle Wasserburger died Monday evening, Dec. 9, 1985, at her home in Lusk. She was 58.

Mrs. Wasserburger was born July 4, 1927, in Andrews, Neb., the daughter of Okley and Rowena Edgell. She married Gerald A. Wasserburger June 9, 1951.

She taught for 14 years at various country schools. She and her husband made their home in Lusk since 1951.

She was a member of the Catholic Church and the D.O.E.'s Drove No. 64 in Lusk.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald of Lusk; a son, Steven of Chadron, Neb.; a daughter, Connie Day of Yazoo City, Miss.; two sisters, Marcella Zimmerman of Harrison, Neb. and Evelyn Dunn of Mitchell, Neb., three granddaughters and numerous other relatives and friends.

Rosary services were held Dec. 11 at Peet Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Tony Jablonowski officiated at the Dec. 12 funeral mass at St. Leo's Catholic Church. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

For those who wish, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital will be appreciated by the family.
