Memorial service for Nellie Yeager

Memorial service for Nellie Yeager was held at Peet Mortuary Chapel Tuesday, January 18. The Rev. Frank Blish officiated. "The Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art" were played during the service.

Ed Hoy, Melvin Lambert, Bill Oates, Charles Q. Heumier, H. E. Hansen and Arthur Ramsbottom were pallbearers. Interment was in Lusk Cemetery.

Nellie M. Yeager was born January 8, 1903, at Osborne, Kan. She died January 16 at her Lusk home.

She lived in Canada until her late teens when she moved to California. On December 12, 1941, she married William Yeager at Kimball, Neb. She was employed at the McClellan Air Force Base at Sacramento, Calif., and also in a military hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Yeager moved to the Lusk area twelve years ago to make their home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her husband, William of Lusk; three sons, Bill, Bob, and Art Yeager; three daughters, Lillian Mochel, Linda Douma, and Betty Hand; 23 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
