John F. Hinrichsen Found Dead In His Home Sunday

John F. Hinrichsen, 66, was found dead in his home east of Manville Sunday forenoon by his son-in-law, James Kaper. Death was due to a heart involvement. Mrs. Hinrichsen was absent at the time, visiting their daughter in Orin.

Funeral services were being held this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel with Rev. F. C. Doctor, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang "Asleep in Jesus" accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson, organist.

Casketbearers were Darrel Alsup, Emil Klemke, Fred Kettler, Burton Kaper, Hans Gautschi and Earl Maxwell. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery with the Peet Mortuary in charge.

John F. Hinrichsen had been a resident of the Manville vicinity for 21 years. He was born in Hooper, Neb., July 30, 1888, the son of Fred and Caroline Nisha Henrichsen.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vera Hinrichsen; three daughters: Mrs. James Kaper of Manville, Mrs. Jake Haberman of Circle Ridge, Mrs. Hazel Cundall of Orin; a son, Don, of Orin; two sisters: Mrs. Minnie Studt of Scribner, Neb. and Mrs. Arthur Welle of Arapahoe, Colo; three brothers: Claus of Scribner, Bill of Seattle, Wash., and Adolph of Lusk. Several grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Last Rites Held for John F. Hinrichsen

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, May 25, at two o'clock for John F. Hinrichsen who had been found dead in his home east of Manville the preceding Sunday forenoon.

Rev. F. C. Doctor officiated at the services which were held in the Peet Chapel. Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang "Asleep in Jesus" accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson, organist.

Pallbearers were: Darrel Alsup, Emil Klemke, Fred Kettler, Burton Kaper, Hans Gutschi and Earl Maxwell. Interment was in the Lusk cemetery with the Peet Mortuary in charge.

John F. Hinrichsen was born July 30, 1888 at Hooper, Nebr. February 1, 1911, he was married to Miss Vera Houts at Omaha, Nebr., and the couple had five children.

They lived first at Scribner, Neb. and later in Fremont, Neb., until 1918, when they came to Wyoming and homesteaded north of Manville, near the Lance Creek area. In 1931 they moved to Manville and lived there until 1935 when they acquired the ranch east of town.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vera Hinrichsen; three daughters: Mrs. Virginia Kaper of near Manville, Mrs. Florence Haberman of near Riverton, Mrs. Hazel Cundall of Orin; one son, Donald of Orin; two sisters: Mrs. Minnie Studt of Scribner and Mrs. Anna Welle of Arapahoe, Colo.; three brothers: William H. of Seattle, Claus of Fremont and Adolph of Lusk. Seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. One son, Fred, died previously.
