Mrs.Kumpf's Mother Dies Aug. 14 in N.C.

Mrs. Lena Lindsey Dean, 75, of West Asheville, N. C., mother of Mrs. Bill Kumpf of Lusk, died Thursday, Aug. 14. Funeral services were held in West Asheville Saturday with the Rev. Nanes Starnes of the Baptist Church officiated.

She was born at Anniston, Ala, July 25, 1894 to Alex W. Lindsey and Minnie Lee Williford Lindsey. She was affiliated with the McCoy Area United Methodist Church when living in Alabama. She has lived for the past 40 years in North Carolina and made her home the last few years of her life with a daughter, Mrs. H.C. Bridges of West Asheville.

Survivors include three sons, D.B. and R.H. Wright of Nashville, Tenn.; and Jack of Decatur, Ala: two daughters, Mrs. Kumpf of Lusk and Mrs. Bridge of West Ashville; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: one sister. M. Crouch of Swainsboro, Ga.
One sister and one brother died previously.
