Harry Tschacher Dies at Home Tues.

Harry Tschacher, 77, died at his home in Manville Tuesday afternoon. He had been in ill health for the past three years. Rosary services will be held Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of Manville; two daughters, Mrs. Laura Burke, Orin Junction and Mrs. Adelyn Johnson, Fort Morgan, Colo.; three sons, Lloyd and Edwin of Manville and Lewis of Lusk. Two brothers and a sister also survive.

Mass for Mike Tschacher Held In Lusk Friday

A high Mass of Requiem was sung by Rev. M.J. McBrien at St. Leo's Catholic Church Friday at 10:00 a.m. for Michael Henry Tschacher who died January 14 at his home in Manville. Rosary services were held Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel. Burial was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Emery Gaukel, Marion Rasmusen, Ken Hughes, Harry Fahy, William Ladwig and Doyle Blackmore.

Michael Henry Tschacher was born February 6, 1880 at Luxenburg, Ia., the son of Andrew and Mary Tschacher. He would have been 78 years old had he lived until February 6.

He was married to Emma Annen at Hemingford, Nebr. in 1909. He moved his family to Manville in 1930 where they were engaged in ranching and where they have since resided.

He is survived by his wife Emma, two daughters, Laurie Burke of Orin and Adelyn Johnson of Fort Morgan, Colo.; three sons, Lewis of Lusk, Lloyd and Edwin of Manville; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One sister, Anna Gasseling of Hemingford, Nebr., and two brothers, Andrew of Alliance and John of Riverton also survive. One grandson previously died.
