The sad angel of death was a visitor at the home of Mrs. G. D. Jenks at 10 o'clock this morning. The grim reaper came as a blessing from above, relieving a sufferer who has endured through a long illness the most excruciating agony, under which, she bore up with Christian fortitude, exhibiting remarkable courage.

Mrs. Jenks was the loving mother of Mrs. Luke Voorhees. The only son, Scott Jenks died last fall.
