Frank Shrum Passes Away on Monday Last

Many of the friends were greatly surprised to hear that he was no more, having departed this life on Monday, June 20th, at 9:30 P.M. He underwent an operation a few days previous to his death and contracted pneumonia, which resulted in death.

Frank Shrum had been a resident of Lusk for twelve years, and counted his friends with his acquaintances. He was married to Miss Goldie Glasford, also a resident of Lusk, on Feb. 20, 1915. To this union was born one child, who with her mother, survives the loss of the father and husband.

His body was laid to rest in the Lusk cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, many of his friends following the body to its last resting place. The services were conducted by Rev. H. W. Johnson. To the sorrowing wife, daughter and other relatives, we extend our sympathy.
