Cathryn Clair Cathcart

Funeral services for Cathryn Clair Frye Cathcart, 93, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Douglas, Wyoming. Interment will be in the Lusk Cemetery on Saturday at 4:00 P.M.

Clair Cathcart died Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas.

Clair was born Monday, October 6, 1924 in Chadron, Dawes County, Nebraska the daughter of Arthur Fred and Mary Hazel (Hebbert) Canaday.

Clair was married to Aaron C. Frye, John Norton in 1982, Alva Leithhead in 1988, and Allen Cathcart in 1999.

Clair will always be remembered by her bright, friendly smile.

She is survived by children, Jeraldine “Jerri” Barrett, Merlen (Amy) Frye, and Sarah Munson all of Douglas; siblings, Larry (Ann) Canaday of Kansas and Twyla (Ronnie) Gladson of Worland, Wyoming; 18 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; siblings, “Chuck” Canaday, Mabel Canaday, Mary Ellen (Canaday) Frye, Robert “Bob” Canaday, and William “Bill” Canaday; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law; cousins; and one great grandchild.

Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral service.

A memorial to the L.D.S. Philanthropies, Humanitarian Relief Fund, 1450 North University Avenue, Provo, Utah 84604 (100% of donations are given to peoples of all denominations to aid with disasters and needs of all kinds) would be appreciated by the family.
