Chin Lash and Carla Stroh will be providing cello and vocal musical selections during the 85th Anniversary Open House, please stop by from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“An Evening of Cinema?” will be presented Wednesday, September 29 at 7 p.m. at the library. “OT: Our Town” a film by Scott Hamilton Kennedy is an independent film about a famous American play in an infamous American town. The Friends of the Library will be holding a bake sale at 3 p.m. at Deckers Food Center on Thursday, September 30. Plan to stop by and stock up on your favorites.

New books in the adult library include “Murder on Ice” by Alina Adams, “Hoax” by Robert K. Tanenbaum, “Mimosa Grove” by Dinah McCall, “Visions in Death” by J. D. Robb, “Guardians of the Lost” by Margaret Weis, “The Empty Room: Surviving the Loss of a Brother or Sister” by Elizabeth DeVita, “The Essential 55” by Ron Clark, “A Man of Faith” byDavid Aikman, and “The PH Miracle for Diabetes” by Robert O. Young.

For the young adult, there is “Goddess of the Night,” “Into the Cold Fire,” and “Night Shade” by Lynn Ewing.

Our junior reader’s will enjoy “Amber Brown is not a Crayon” by Paula Danziger, “Wild Thing” by Dandi Daley Mackall, and “Without Wonder” by Brooke James .

For our younger readers, there is “What a Trip, Amber Brown” by Paula Danziger, and “Henry and Mudge and Mrs. Hopper’s House” by Cynthia Rylant.

“What Will I Wear” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, September 28, 2004. Storyhour is held each Tuesday throughout the year from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m children 3 through kindergarten.
