Happy Thanksgiving! On behalf of the library staff, board members and support organization members’ thank you for your support of our library projects. All of the collections continue to grow and we would like to invite you to stop by and browse a while. The library will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 25 and 26 to celebrate Thanksgiving, regular library hours resume on Monday, November 29. Please also remember that we are open until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings! See you soon.

Tickets are still available for the Friends of the Library Homemade Holiday Cookie and Candy Swap on Thursday, December 2 at the library. For $5.00 participants are able to trade 3 dozen homemade cookies or candy and have lunch. Space is limited so get your tickets now by stopping by the library or
contacting on of the members of the Friends of the Library.

New books in the adult library include “The Sunday Philosophy Club” by Alexander McCall Smith, “The Parisian Affair” by Judith Gould, “Melancholy Baby” by Robert B. Parker, “Double Homocide” by Jonathan Kellerman, “Northern Lights” by Nora Roberts, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place” by Aron Ralston, “The Rosedal Diet” by Ron Rosedale, M. D., “Teasing Secrets from the Dead” by Emily Craig and “Against All Odds” by Chuck Norris.

For the young adult, there is “Mates, Dates, and Inflatable Bras” and “Mates, Dates, and Designer Divas” by Cathy Hopkins as well as “Spy High: Mission
one”
and “Spy High: Mission Two” by A. J. Butcher.

Our junior reader’s will enjoy “Ashleigh,” “Christina’s Shining Star,” and “Down to the Wire”by Mary Newhall Anderson and “The Witches of Friar’s Latern” and “The Witches of Winged-Horse Mountain” by Sandra Forrester.

For our younger readers, there is “Code Word Kangaroo” by George Edward Stanley and “Face to Face Sharkes”by Barbara Taylor.

“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Storyhour is held each Tuesday throughout the year from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m children 3 through kindergarten.
